Cocoa & Cards Night!
Join us for a cozy afternoon at the U.D.T.J Community Center on Saturday, December 19th from 6–8 PM! Warm up with our U.D.T.J Cocoa Bar, sip hot cocoa, and enjoy creating cards together in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
You can make a holiday card or any card you choose. Some supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorites from home if you’d like to add a personal touch.

Safe A Life Day
Overdose Prevention & Harm Reduction Training
Learn practical, lifesaving skills that can help you recognize and respond to an overdose. This interactive presentation will cover fentanyl and drug contamination, fentanyl test strips, signs of an overdose, how to use naloxone (Narcan), rescue breathing, the recovery position, and other harm reduction strategies. Participants will also have opportunities for demonstrations, practice, and questions.
All participants leave with Narcan and a free harm reduction bag filled with go to supplies and information so you can SAVE LIVES!
You Belong Here: Community Night
You Belong Here Community Night is a free interactive community experience for ages 14 and up designed to inspire confidence, connection, and self-empowerment. Throughout the evening, participants will explore a series of fun, hands-on activity stations hosted by local community organizations. Each stop offers a unique opportunity to reflect, learn, create, and connect while discovering resources that support personal growth and well-being.
Hosted by the UDTJ Community Center at Recovery Works PA, this collaborative event features interactive experiences facilitated by Recovery Works PA, Purple House Project, OSHUN Family Center, Free Mom Hugs PA, and Hope for Hallie. Complete each activity station for a chance to win a prize at the end of the evening. Whether you attend on your own or with friends, you'll leave with new connections, valuable resources, and a reminder that you belong here.
Serving & Saving Lives - Drag Game Show
HEALING OUR COMMUNITY SERIES
Serving & Saving Lives is a free harm reduction game show and drag show hosted by Mary Muerte. Join UDTJ for a fun, sober evening with drag performances, prizes, free food, and education about party drugs, opioids, overdose prevention, and ways we can keep each other safe.

DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch
Join us for the DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch at the UDTJ Community Center! This is a vibrant and inclusive gathering for activists and community members passionate about social justice and direct action. Share ideas, tips, and strategies for protesting and organizing, while building connections with like-minded individuals in a welcoming environment.

Capture Joy is a free community photography event focused on confidence, self-expression, and empowerment. Participants will receive a professional headshot and portrait while celebrating their authentic selves in a welcoming and affirming environment.
The event will be hosted at The Wardrobe, where attendees are invited to arrive dressed in an outfit they love or browse The Wardrobe's clothing selection to find an outfit that helps them feel confident before their portrait session. Whether it's for work, school, personal branding, or simply for themselves, everyone deserves the opportunity to feel seen, celebrated, and to capture their joy.

Delco Drag Brunch
Delco Monthly Drag Brunch

Towne House | Media, PA
Join UDTJ for the Delco Monthly Drag Brunch, a fun-filled afternoon of incredible performances, delicious food, and community, all while supporting a great cause.
Hosted by the fabulous Balena Canto and Rosey Hart, this intimate drag brunch brings together some of Delco's amazing local drag talent for a high-energy show that begins around 12:30 PM and runs through approximately 1:30 PM, with plenty of time before and after to eat, socialize, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Best of all, every ticket sold directly supports local drag performers and helps fund LGBTQIA+ programs, resources, and community services provided by UDTJ throughout Delaware County. By attending, you're not only supporting the artists on stage, you're investing in a stronger, more connected LGBTQIA+ community.
Ticket Options
General Admission – $25: Includes admission to the show.
Brunch & Bubbles Ticket – $30: Includes admission plus one complimentary mimosa (21+ with valid ID) or one fountain soda.

DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch
Join us for the DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch at the UDTJ Community Center! This is a vibrant and inclusive gathering for activists and community members passionate about social justice and direct action. Share ideas, tips, and strategies for protesting and organizing, while building connections with like-minded individuals in a welcoming environment.

Rainbow Recharge
Rainbow Recharge: A LGBTQIA+ Mental Health Nature Walk
Join UDTJ for Rainbow Recharge, a relaxed LGBTQIA+ mental health nature walk created to help our community slow down, breathe, and reconnect with each other in nature. We’ll gather at Smedley Park for a low-pressure morning walk focused on wellness, community, and taking a break from the stress of everyday life.
Whether you come with friends or show up solo, this is a chance to get outside, meet new people, and spend time in a supportive queer-centered space.
The walk will begin at the Papermill Road Playground at Smedley Park.

U.D.T.J & Recovery Works PA - A Sober, Sip & Paint Workshop
Join U.D.T.J Community Center's Resources & Services Department and Youth Programming Department for our Sober, Sip & Paint Workshop! This creative, alcohol-free event offers a welcoming space to relax, connect with others, and express yourself through art.
Participants will have the opportunity to paint a still life provided during the workshop or create their own original artwork based on a subject of their choice. No prior painting experience is required, and all supplies will be provided.
Food and snacks will be available during the event.

Board Game Night is coming to the UDTJ Community Center! Come by for a laid-back night of games, snacks, laughs, and community. U.D.T.J & Recovery Works PA- A Seat at the Table
Join U.D.T.J. Community Center and Recovery Works PA for A Seat at the Table, a free community dinner held in remembrance of those we have lost to overdose. During Overdose Awareness Month, we invite community members, families, friends, and allies to come together for an evening of food, connection, reflection, and support.
Take a seat at the table as we honor the lives and memories of loved ones lost to overdose while strengthening community and reminding one another that no one grieves alone. Participants are welcome to bring a photo of a loved one they would like to remember during the evening.
This event is free to attend, and dinner will be provided.

Monthly Community Outreach
Each month, U.D.T.J. Community Center hosts a coordinated outreach initiative designed to connect community members with real, accessible resources in one welcoming space.
Our outreach events function as a one-stop hub for support offering free hygiene supplies, harm reduction tools, food, referrals, peer support, and direct connections to local service providers. We partner with trusted organizations to ensure individuals can access mental health resources, housing assistance, recovery support, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and other essential services without navigating multiple systems alone.
Our goal is simple: reduce barriers, increase dignity, and meet people where they are.
Whether someone needs immediate supplies, long-term support, or just a safe space to ask questions, our monthly outreach ensures no one has to do it alone.
Community members, volunteers, and partners are always welcome to get involved.
Delco Queer Social Coffee Hour

Our first Delco Queer Book Club is officially forming!
Join us Friday, July 31 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Recovery Works PA in Drexel Hill for our first meeting. Bring your favorite book for show and tell, meet other LGBTQIA+ readers, and help shape what this club becomes.
We’ll have free ice cream and pizza, and everyone 18+ is welcome. Whether you read constantly, are trying to get back into reading, or just want a relaxed queer community space, this is for you.
This is an intro meeting! No prior reading is needed! Come meet the other Delco Queers who want to form a book club and come make friends!
